The Atlanta chapter of WTS has awarded scholarships to three School of Civil and Environmental Engineering students for 2017. They’ll now compete against nominees from every chapter for international scholarships from the WTS Foundation.
Ph.D. student Alice Grossman will spend 10 weeks in the nation’s capital this summer as a transportation policy fellow at the Eno Center for Transportation. Grossman begins work as the Thomas J. O’Bryant Transportation Policy and Finance Fellowship May 15.

The overwhelming consensus: it’s not just bicycles that define the Dutch transportation system. Rather, it's the integration of biking with all forms of public transit and infrastructure planning that makes the Netherlands’ famed bike culture a way of life.
Lack of spending on Atlanta’s sidewalks has created a system of haves and have-nots when it comes to who can walk alongside the city’s roadways.
