Transportation research center picks Wilson as its unanimous student of the year

Master's student Alana Wilson is the Student of the Year for the Center for Advancing Research in Transportation Emissions, Energy and Health, a U.S. Department of Transportation-funded research center.

A federally funded transportation research center has named School of Civil and Environmental Engineering master’s student Alana Wilson its Student of the Year and will send her to the nation’s signature transportation research meeting this winter.

Sustainability, emissions, travel behavior among challenges researchers will tackle in 6 new University Transportation Centers

The U.S. Department of Transportation announced Dec. 5 it would invest $300 million in new research through University Transportation Centers, including half a dozen where the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering will play a significant role.
