2020 Hispanic Heritage Month Lecture featuring Sonia Nazario

Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) events at Georgia Tech celebrate and recognize the economic, scientific, cultural, and social contributions of Latinos in the United States. OHI advises a student committee to coordinate efforts with several Hispanic/Latino student organizations in organizing the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration from mid-September to mid-October.

Georgia Tech's 2020 HHM theme is "Hispanics: Embrace Your Past, Shape the Future."

As part of Institute Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’s Intercultural Lecture Series, the 2020 HHM Lecture will feature Sonia Nazario, Pulitzer Prize-winning author & journalist. Register here.

To submit a question in advance, email institutediversity@gatech.edu by 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21.
