Joshua Stewart manages communications for the School, including this website, social media feeds, print collateral such as our annual report, and photography and video. Stewart came to Georgia Tech after a decade working in public radio and television in Georgia and Florida, most recently serving as local host of Morning Edition on Georgia Public Broadcasting's 17 radio stations across the state. He also hosted Weekend Edition and All Things Considered on GPB in addition to reporting news from around the state of Georgia. Previously, he hosted All Things Considered in Tampa, Florida, and produced an award-winning local public affairs program called Florida Matters at WUSF Public Media. He also reported and hosted for WJCT Public Broadcasting in Jacksonville, and he worked with college journalism and broadcasting students as media adviser at the University of North Florida.
Stewart’s work has been recognized with several Council for the Advancement and Support of Education awards, two Higher Education Advertising Awards, two regional Edward R. Murrow awards, several Society for Professional Journalists Green Eyeshade awards, and numerous Associated Press nods. He grew up along the World’s Most Famous Beach and lived throughout Florida before moving to Atlanta with his family.
