Shauna has 25 years of experience and training in business administration, including management, executive support, and human resources. Before arrived at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, she served in several leadership positions over 17 years in the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. Her roles there included Administrative Manager, Executive Assistant to Program Chair, and Lead Administrative Assistant. She supervised four administrative supervisors as well as 13 other administrative staff members, focusing on customer service, solving problems, and building consensus. She has overseen human resources administration, coordinated a large unit’s administrative support, and handled purchasing, budgeting and clerical support.
