  • Thursday night Welcome Reception and cocktails at the Plazoleta Popular Center – $60 per person
  • Friday night Alumni Gala at the Old San Juan Casino for dinner and dancing – $120 per person

Evening Welcome Reception

Friday, April 12

  • Morning - Conversations about Puerto Rico's continuing recovery from Hurricane Maria and how leaders are planning for future disasters.
  • Lunch with the group.
  • Afternoon - Free time to explore on your own or enjoy the beach, spa, pool, and other amenities at our hotel.
  • Evening - Gala with dinner and dancing at the Old San Juan Casino (now a beautiful, historic event space).

Saturday, April 13

  • Morning - Learn about disaster recovery block grants helping restore Puerto Rico as well as tax incentive programs drawing businesses to the island.
  • Lunch with the group.
  • Afternoon - Tour Old San Juan, a 500-year-old neighborhood, with insight from a historian and a local civil engineer.
  • Evening – Free time to explore with restaurant and activity suggestions from our local alumni.

Sunday, April 14

  • Optional activities:
    • Golf at Dorado Beach.
    • Post-trip activities — more beach time, Vieques Island, or other adventures.
  • Depart for home.
