Biography

Dr. Martin directs the Collaborative Innovation Center in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, which was founded in 2019. Dr. Martin previously conducted research on team justice, inclusion, and psychological safety while working as post-doctoral fellow in the School of Biomedical Engineering, where he also taught a course on the science of happiness. He holds advanced degrees in psychology and sociology. He has published peer-reviewed articles in a number of journals including Social Psychological and Personality Science, Journal of Happiness Studies, the International Journal of Applied Positive Psychology, and the Journal of College Student Psychotherapy.
