Griffin Fish is a research engineer at the structural engineering and materials laboratory working under the leadership of Dr. Lauren Stewart. He holds a M.S. Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech, which we earned by conducting hands-on research into ultra-high performance concrete closure pours connecting precast bridge decks. After graduating, Griffin gained 2.5 years of experience as a structural design engineer working for a heavily awarded Atlanta based engineering firm, where he became professionally involved in the American Concrete Institute (ACI). Upon returning to Georgia Tech in 2024, Griffin has become a leading member of the research team at the structural engineering and materials laboratory. He has advanced skills in test setup and experiment design, steel fabrication, instrumentation, and project/team management.
