Biography

Todd Long joined Atlas Technical Consultants in 2018 as Georgia Division Lead.  He has 30 years of experience in government services with focused experience in planning, engineering, operations and administration for large governmental organizations and has served in leadership roles for most of his career.  Prior to joining Atlas, Long served as Chief Operating Officer for Fulton County from 2015 to 2018.  He led the day-to-day activities of the County’s customer-facing departments.  Todd Long also had a long career in transportation before retiring in 2015 from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).  Long served in several positions at the state of Georgia, which included:

  • Deputy Commissioner (2012-2015)

  • Director of Preconstruction (2006-2008)
