The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering celebrated its top work of the year Nov. 14 at an awards ceremony for students, faculty and staff.
Awards honored the best undergraduate and graduate student work, the most-effective teachers, and remarkable research for 2024. They also recognized staff excellence and impactful service to the School.
Karen and John Huff School Chair Don Webster hosted the event, stepping in for CEE Awards Committee chair Arash Yavari who is currently teaching abroad in Barcelona. Webster presented thirteen awards to students, staff and faculty who excelled during 2024, chosen by the committee from nominations by their peers.
“A huge congratulations to the student, staff, and faculty awardees this year,” said Webster. “The excellence of our programs results from the dedicated work of our community members, and I am delighted to see these individuals recognized for their achievements.”
