The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering’s graduate programs have once again been ranked among the nation’s best.

In U.S. News and World Report’s 2026 list of the best engineering graduate schools, Georgia Tech’s civil engineering program is ranked No. 3 and environmental engineering is listed at No. 4.

"It’s an honor to see our programs ranked so highly year after year, solidifying our reputation as a leading destination for the nation’s best graduate students,” said Karen and John Huff School Chair Don Webster.

Environmental Engineering is ranked No. 4 for the second year in a row. Civil Engineering moved to No. 3 after being tied for the No. 2 ranking on the 2025 list. 

Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering was ranked No. 4, maintaining its standing from the previous year.
