Her research has made significant contributions to understanding the complexities of evolving interactions between humans and civil infrastructure systems, including energy, mobility, and communication, to characterize their far-reaching impacts on community life. Central to her work is the creation of Digital Twins, providing a platform to explore interdependencies, uncertainties, and evolving interoperability within complex human-infrastructure systems across time, space, and scales, thereby amplifying their transformative potential.
Leading research initiatives in 'Smart City Digital Twins,' she collaborates extensively with city authorities, governments, and diverse stakeholders to drive Smart City Initiatives toward sustainability, resilience, and digital transformation. Driven by a global vision, her research aims to advance engineering decision-making, leveraging Generative AI for advanced modeling of Cyber-Physical Infrastructure Systems, including contextual data synthesis and augmentation, and realistic scenario generation.
