The members of the Atlantic Coast Conference have selected Reginald DesRoches as their vice president for the 2016-2017 academic year.
DesRoches is the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering’s Karen and John Huff School Chair. He has served as Georgia Tech’s Faculty Athletics Representative since 2014.
In that role, DesRoches represents the faculty in all athletic matters, serving as liaison between the Institute and the Georgia Tech Athletics Association. That includes significant involvement in Tech’s membership in the ACC.
DesRoches will serve with incoming ACC President Lissa Broome, the faculty athletics representative from the University of North Carolina.
